Elie Wiesel was taken from his home to Auschwitz concentration camp and then moved to Buchenwald. He lost his family and any innocence he may have had in this time. In 1986 he won the Nobel Peace Prize for his heartbreaking story of the events he encountered. Night is the first prt of the Night trilogy.
