Childrens Books


Children's books take in a wide range of literature.
There are fiction and non-fiction.
There are many different genres of fiction and non-fiction.
General fiction, adventure, fantasy, horror, short stories etc.
There are books for all ages, from toddlers to teens.
There are also many kinds of non fiction dealing with a wide variety of topics, from sport to cosmology.

Children's literature has a long history, going back to before printing.
Then it was in the oral tradition for storytellers to recount stories.
Some of the earliest printing of stories were directed at or for children.
Many stories had a religious or moral content to them.
